ONLY two weeks after Woodstock, and with 150,000 wild fans in attendance, the 1969 Isle of Wight Festival featured two massive headliners – The Who and Bob Dylan. The shows were legendary, mostly due to it being Dylan’s first concert in nearly three years following his 1966 motorcycle accident. Unlike Dylan, The Who had just played Woodstock and rocked the crowd with their rock opera, Tommy .
